Taking to Instagram‚ the afro-pop singer was excited to share the news with her fans.
“I'm glad to announce the freedom I fought so hard for... My company LeopardQueenNetwork will handle my recording rights as a Solo Artist! #LeopardQueenReloaded.”
After years of success with Malaika‚ Tshedi released her solo album‚ Victory‚ in 2013. However‚ the album failed to produce a single hit. Several reports claimed that the former school teacher blamed Sony Music for not distributing her music to radio or reputable music outlets.
She also allegedly had to sell one of her cars to sponsor the launch of Victory - a year after it was released – after it was reported that the music label would apparently not help.
